OUR PRODUCTS

TIRE SEALANTS:

Delta First has been manufacturing tire sealants for more than 20 years. Based on extensive product research and based on market demands, four specific sealants have been developed that cover all of the market's needs. Sealitup Heavy Duty is an all-purpose sealant used for Off The Road (OTR) applications. Sealitup Premium Heavy Duty is used when heavy duty puncture resistance is needed, or extreme freeze protection is essential. The very specialized Sealitup Hi-Speed tire sealant is a totally different tire sealant designed for use on vehicles which run consistently at interstate highway speeds. Our Sealitup Tube sealant is specially designed to seal punctures in inner tubes in tires ranging from bicycles to light trucks and passenger cars.

Tire punctures can be caused by nails, screws, glass, rocks, other types of metals and various types of read debris. Since punctures will vary in size, shape, and location on the tire, it's virtually impossible for any sealant to work perfectly and 100% of the time. Delta First's sealants are designed to seal punctures as shown in the chart below. The Sealitup products will also seal bead leaks and multiple punctures.

Seals Holes up to Primary Recommended Use Also Use In
Sealitup Heavy Duty 3/8" (9 mm) ALL OTR applications (Farm, Construction, Mining etc) & General purpose Lawn & Garden, ATV, Garden Tractor, etc
Sealitup Premium Heavy Duty 3/8" (9 mm) OTR–wherever extreme punctures or temperatures are expected Lawn & Garden, ATV, Garden Tractor, etc
Sealitup Hi-Speed 3/8" (9 mm) Over the Road Trucks, ambulances, etc (vehicles moving consistently at interstate speeds) Passenger Cars, Motorcycles, Light Trucks
Sealitup Tube 3/16" (4 mm) Inner tubes in all applications Tubes ONLY

It is not unusual for customers to call us after dismounting a tire with a count of the number of nail holes or other punctures The highest number recorded so far is over 100 punctures found in a still-operating tire with our sealant inside!!

TIRE COOLANTS & RIM CONDITIONERS:

Rim conditioners (sometimes called wheel conditioners or tire conditioners) are fluids designed to help tires run cooler, prevent rim rust, and make mounting and dismounting of tires smooth and easy. The giant tires used in the Off The Road (OTR) market carry as much as 20 tons per tire and are expensive, difficult to maintain, and develop tremendous heat build-up. Heat and loss of air pressure are the biggest enemies of OTR tires. Wheel Saver and Wheel Saver Plus will help maintain air pressure and reduce the heat of an operating tire by 10-15° F (7-10° C) when used at recommended dosage levels. This reduction in temperature is critical to help large OTR tires last longer, and is even more critical in insuring that the tire has not been damaged for retread by extreme heat in the field.

In addition to reducing heat Wheel Saver and Wheel Saver Plus contain three different types of rust inhibitors, including a 'vapor phase' rust inhibitor. This is critical because the most rust inhibitors are designed to work only when in contact with the metal surface and liquid inside the tire is not always in contact with the rim. .The Delta First 'vapor phase' rust inhibitor actually releases molecules from the liquid into the air inside the tire after it is mounted, so that it works at preventing rust regardless of whether the tire is in motion or standing still.

The primary difference between Wheel Saver and Wheel Saver Plus is the ability of Wheel Saver Plus to work in extreme temperatures. The Plus is designed to work in extreme cold and will protect while inside your tires when the exterior temperature is down to -35° F (-37° C).

TIRE BALANCERS:

There are many balancing products on the market today. There are beads, powders, and now liquids. Our Liquid Tire Balance (LTB) is designed to provide a number of benefits beyond what the competitive products offer. Balancing is just one of the benefits of using our LTB. But beyond balancing, our product helps lower operating temperatures of the tire, and prevents rust. We use the same rust prevention technology that is present in all of our products to insure no rust will develop inside a tire that contains our liquid tire balancer (LTB). Like many of our other fine products, LTB will not freeze inside your tire when the temperature outside is -35° F (-37° C).

BEAD LUBE:

We offer a simple but very effective Bead Lube Liquid Concentrate for your use in mounting and dismounting tires. Our product is a 3-1 concentrate which can easily be mixed with water in the field to get any degree of "slipperiness" you want to use.

TIRE PAINT:

We now offer the finest Tire Paint on the market today. It is dripless tire paint, it dries very rapidly, and offers excellent coverage compared to competitive products. From retread factories to small tire shops, this stuff works in the field and is winning customers over at every turn. We offer it in both ready-to-use Pre-Mix version as well as a Concentrate, and in addition, we offer the pump protector and spray gun kit to help keep your painting equipment clean!

PUMPS:

Part of the task with any tire sealant is getting it into the tire. By far, the easiest time to install any tire sealant is when you are mounting the tire. However, there are times when you need to add it to an already mounted tire.

To do so, you must deflate the tire and remove the valve core, then use one of the pumps shown on this page to pump the tire sealant through the valve stem. ALL PUMPS ARE SOLD SEPARATELY FROM THE TIRE SEALANT ITSELF.
